Neurotransmitter Balancing

Balance the 'Hormones' of the Brain

Neurotransmitters are the ‘hormones’ of the brain and have a very intimate connection with the endocrine system in the body via the HPT /HPA axes.

When the endocrine system begins to weaken due to prolonged stress it causes the neurotransmitter system (operating system of the brain) to malfunction resulting in a depletion of the monoamine supply to the brain.

There is a profusion of symptom expressions that can develop as a result of this monoamine depletion to include:

Parkinsons

Crohns/Colitis/Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Anxiety

Migraines

ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders

Depression

Loss of Motivation

Inability to Lose Weight

Mood Disorders

Eating Disorders

Drug/Alcohol Addiction

Sleep Disorders

Obsessive/Compulsive Disorders

Inability to Concentrate

Memory Loss/Forgetfulness

…to name a few.

For some, a simple correction and balance of the hormonal system results in the restoration of the neurotransmitter system. For others, more aggressive protocols may be necessary based on their symptom expression and personal history.
